2:17. ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀମାନେ! ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅଳ୍ପ ସମୟ ପାଇଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରୁ ଦୂର ରେ ଥିଲୁ। ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶାରୀରିକ ଭାବରେ ସଠାେରେ ନ ଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ, ଆମ୍ଭର ଚିନ୍ତାଗୁଡ଼ିକ ସଠାେରେ ଅଛି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବା ଲାଗି ବ୍ଯଗ୍ର ଥିଲୁ ଓ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଅଧିକ ଯତ୍ନ ମଧ୍ଯ କରିଥିଲୁ।

2:17. But when we were separated from you, brothers and sisters, for a short time (in presence, not in affection) we became all the more fervent in our great desire to see you in person.
